All previous COVID-19 restrictions still apply so please act accordingly and be sensible. Please note that players living in Tier 3 locations CANNOT travel to play in Tier 2 locations.

Sadly our bar remains closed due to all the restrictions but those looking to quench their thirst can head to The Chiswick Pavilion which will be open outdoors for takeaway so wrap up warm! Please adhere to all government guidelines and do not sit in groups bigger than 6.

Match Reports

London Old Boys Sunday Vets Cup Final
OMFC Vets 4 – 2 Chigwellians Vets

Sunday 1 st November the Vets won their 2nd cup in a month, defeating Chigwellians 4-2 having been handed a home advantage. 0-1 midway through the half, Thommo equalised with a neat header following an excellent Jack cross. we went 2-1 up with an Ed pen after Tim had been fouled. Ed was then fouled for the most obvious pen imaginable, but it was not given !! HT 2-1.

Having been much the better side we conceded after 65 mins and had a bumpy 5 mins before sub , Jake Collis, scored a fine volley from a Jack free kick and Jack completed a hat trick of assists by unselfishly ( and uncharacteristically ) passing to Simon to make it 4-2. Full time.

So why am I , KQ, on the 2nd Dec writing a report a month later?? well the answer is simple! The management were handed the reward of writing their own story/obituary, a process which has NEVER HAPPENED in their long tenure, dating back to 2003. Its fair to say that the players have long stopped asking Pad and Rory if they ever went to school to avoid embarrassment.

After Rory did ALL the work leading up to the final, the job was handed to Pad. He assured everyone it would be done, but he is a very busy man and has not had time to put crayon to paper. However, having visited Pad and Christine several times and after many tantrums we have a report. . .please dont be too judgemental.

FROM PADDY.

We won the Kup. West Wikam lost it. I alwaz tel the palerz that if we skor more then dem we have relly relly good chans of winnin. The boyz listen to me. we skored more golz thanthem and we won the kup. Winchmor Hil r a good side but wez beter. . i fink we lost a goal and then found a goal, so it was 1-1. then we skored so that made it 2 goalz to us and only 1 to them. Thats good.

I like haf time. Rory givz me a choc boskit and tels me to shut up. Then i start torking just to get anover biskit. im klever with biskits.this reporrt is difikult. we skored more and we won the kup 4-2, witch is good.

Some players fink im a geneus but i dont. fank you
