Barnes Eagles is a truly unique Football Club and one of which we are all immensely proud to be part of. When you bring your children along to us, you can be assured that you are bringing them to a very safe and controlled environment, where they can happily take part in the greatest sport of all time. They are not just joining another football Club but are joining an extended ?family?.
The Football Association has awarded Charter Standard Status to BEFC, this award is in recognition of the very professional way in which the Club is run and ensures that very high standards are maintained. All of our coaches are FA qualified coaches, with a minimum of a Level 1 coaching certificate and who have been vetted by the Football Association?s Criminal Records Bureau and selected as to their suitability to work with children.
The Club runs 17 teams of all ages ranging from 7 to 17, playing in the West Surrey Youth league, one of the premier youth leagues in Surrey. Barnes Eagles Football Club have an agreed arrangement with Old Meadonians Football Club that once our players have gone beyond the U18 age group and are ready for adult football that they have natural transition to join a very well run and established adult football club. This season we are establishing a girl?s section, which will also take part in competitive football.
We also have an established partnership with Premiership giants Chelsea FC who provide professional coaching at our Coaching Centre on Saturday mornings and also run our soccer camps. All of these links will ensure that we will remain a strong and vibrant Club for many years to come.
